I had been taking BPC-157 for a few months and didn’t notice anything good or bad. Then I switched vendors and I’ve been just dragging during the day. Has this happened to anyone else? Not sure if the first vendor was just not selling me the real thing or whether the second vendor is somehow contaminated.

Reaction: No reaction I believe that this latest kit of Glutathione is bad because I usually feel a pinchy or stinging sensation as soon as I inject it. Since I’ve injected this new batch I feel nothing when I inject it. Also, I smelled the reconstituted solution and it doesn’t have the sulphur smell it should.

Where did you buy it?? This has happened to me before as well. I paid for my own COA - turns out it wasn’t even Glutathione. Don’t know what it actually was.
I’ve noticed that I need to take a nap mid day - I’m just out of energy. Not a fan.
The SS-31 in addition to three supplements: Urolithin A, Ubiquinol and R-Lipoic Acid have made all the difference. Before SS-31 was making me fatigued so I switched to nighttime injections. But now that I’ve added these supplements in addition to the SS-31 I’m feeling really clean energy during the day.

I should have added an adverse event for fatigue!
I’ve heard that this is a standard side effect of the peptide but hadn’t experienced it yet. I assume it’s this protocol as I’ve been using the others for months now and Epitalon is my most recent addition.
My hair seems thicker and my skin more smooth!
Last night - 2 days in from my last Reta injection - I lay in bed for hours with a racing heart and anxiety. I had increased my dose from 300 to 400 mcg this week AND I had something sweet before bed so guessing it was a low glucose event.
I think lowering my dose helped after my bad experience from two weeks ago. I will say going from 500 mcg to 300 mcg caused my appetite to come back noticeably.
I'm doing the maximum dose for 10 days. It seems like a lot. Considering lowering my dose and extending the cycle.
I've completed a cycle now and while I am taking other peps simultaneously, I believe the boosted mood/energy is likely from Mots-c.

Additionally, I plan to do this low dose for 30 days instead of the 10 mg for 10 days or 5 mg for 20 days which I see a lot of.
Let me know how that goes. I'll be especially interested in hearing if the sleep benefits continue once you've been off-cycle for a few weeks.
It doesn't so much help with initial sleep onset, but it does seem to help with staying asleep or going back to sleep if I'm woken up. AND I've been waking up very refreshed.

What is your dose - I don't struggle with sleep onset, rather staying asleep so this would be perfect.
I’m currently at 500 mcg nightly
I’m considering taking this. Did you start at 500 mcg or titrate up to that? The dose suggestions I’m seeing online are insanely high - like 5 to 10 mg several times a week.
I started at those super high doses (5mg for 10 days) and backed off. I’m seeing online that the high dosage protocol was based on Russian research that used the naturally occurring Epithalamin. The synthetic form we use - Epitalon - is supposed to be 10X stronger. So I backed waaaaay off and got much better results. I found that a lot of the peptide vendor sites still suggest the Russian Epithalamin protocol!
@inanna I noticed that about vendor sites as well. Thanks - I’ll start low when I start.
@meemaw_lifter starting low is always the best strategy IMO
I’m just sleepy today and I got good sleep this week!
I think that dosing Reta, mots-c and ghk-cu all on the same evening combined with a slight increase in my Reta dose impaired my sleep that night, I woke up at 1:45 with increased heart rate, started thinking about work problems, didn’t go back to sleep and then felt that awful combo of wired but exhausted all day. I luckily slept well the following night after careful research and therapy with a magnesium bath, magnesium glycinate supplements, drinking electrolytes, understanding that the Reta was going to slow down digestion of any oral supplements, breathing exercises, etc
I've been taking this pretty consistently for four months now and after the first two weeks the difference was noticeable. I wasn't looking to drop a lot of weight necessarily, rather to lose belly and visceral fat but to grow muscle mass at the same time. My overall weight is down form about 120 to 115 now (consistently) but more importantly, according to my scale, my body fat is down from about 18-19% to 16% and my belly is flatter and I see far more abs than I used to. I have to force myself to eat enough protein and drink a lot because I don't want to lose muscle mass. Also taking creatine.
Now in the second dose of my second Mots-c cycle and the mood+energy improvements are continuing! Also this time I dosed Mots-c in the morning instead of evening and that worked a lot better!
I got good sleep the night before which makes a huge difference but also with this cycle I’ve been taking Urolithin A, which seems to amplify the positive effects of Mots-c.
Still felt sleepy after I took my BPC-157 today. Considering taking it at night instead of in the morning or just stopping it.

Just seeing your posts on this topic. Me too! Did you stop it for good? I’d really like to stick it out because I have a stubborn golfer’s elbow and had high hopes that the blood vessel growth aspect of this compound would help to heal the tendonosis!
I was using it for a similar reason. I heard that vitamin B deficiencies might be related to this fatigue and depression so I’m going to up my B levels and try it again. I’ll update this thread once I restart!
Thank you - this will be super helpful to hear.
I’m feeling unmotivated and lethargic, slightly depressed. I read that preclinical research shows BPC-157 interacts heavily with the gut-brain axis, modulating serotonin and dopamine systems. This dual action can stabilize or disrupt mood regulation, depending on individual neurochemistry.
Reaction: Breakthrough bleeding After several years without getting a period, I experienced breakthrough bleeding after a few weeks on Retatrutide. I researched that this is common in menopausal women because it burns the visceral fat more quickly, where estrogen is stored, flooding your system with higher levels of estrogen than your body is accustomed to.
